Description

The standing two side bend is a side bending mobility drill done with the arms reached overhead. The mover bends to one side then the other. It stretches the lats, obliques, and side trunk muscles.

Standing Two Side Bend Instructions

  1. Stand with the feet hip width apart.
  2. Reach the arms straight overhead.
  3. Clasp the hands together at the wrists.
  4. Brace your core and keep the chest up.
  5. Bend sideways to one side.
  6. Feel the stretch along the side body.
  7. Return to center then bend to the other side.
  8. Continue alternating sides.
