Description
The lever standing calf raise uses a plate-loaded standing calf raise machine. The shoulder pads load weight onto the upper traps while the balls of the feet rest on a raised step. The setup allows heavy progressive overload with full range of motion through the calves.

- Step into a lever standing calf raise machine.
- Position the shoulder pads firmly on your upper traps.
- Place the balls of your feet on the raised step with heels hanging off.
- Stand tall with knees slightly bent.
- Allow your heels to drop below the platform for a full stretch.
- Brace your core.
- Press up through the balls of your feet, lifting your heels as high as possible.
- Squeeze the calves at the top, then lower the heels back down with control.
