Glute Ham Sit Up
Description
The glute ham sit up is a full range sit up performed on a glute ham developer. The lifter sets up facing up with the feet hooked under the foot pads, then performs sit ups. The GHD allows the torso to drop below parallel for an extended range and loaded abs.

Glute Ham Sit Up Instructions
- Set up on a glute ham developer (GHD) facing up.
- Hook the feet under the foot pads with the hips against the pad.
- Cross the arms over the chest.
- Brace your core and lower the torso back below parallel.
- Reach the arms back behind the head at the bottom.
- Curl the torso up by contracting the abs.
- Sit all the way up to vertical.
- Lower back down with control.
