Description

The cable one arm incline press uses a single low cable handle pressed up and forward at an incline angle. The single-arm loading creates rotational force the core must resist while the upward angle hits the upper pec fibers. It is a strong unilateral upper chest variation.

Cable One Arm Incline Press Instructions

  1. Set a cable to a low pulley with a single handle.
  2. Stand facing away from the cable station with feet shoulder-width apart.
  3. Grip the handle with your right hand at chest level, palm forward.
  4. Step forward to create cable tension.
  5. Brace your core hard against the asymmetric load.
  6. Press the handle up and forward at an incline angle until your arm is extended.
  7. Resist any rotation in your trunk.
  8. Bring the handle back to chest level with control. Switch sides.
