Band Overhead Side Bend
Description
The band overhead side bend loads a side bend with a resistance band. One end is stood on and the other is held overhead with one arm. The lifter side bends away from the band to stretch the obliques on the loaded side then pulls back up.
Equipment Required
Band Overhead Side Bend Instructions
- Stand on one end of a resistance band with one foot.
- Hold the other end of the band in the same-side hand.
- Press the band-holding arm straight up overhead.
- Brace your core and stand tall.
- Side bend the torso away from the band side.
- Allow the band to stretch as you lean over.
- Pull the torso back upright using the obliques.
- Complete reps and switch sides.
