  1. Lie on the back with the legs extended.
  2. Pinch a medicine ball between the feet.
  3. Place the arms at the sides palms down.
  4. Brace the core and press the lower back into the floor.
  5. Lift both legs straight up toward vertical.
  6. Squeeze the abs hard at the top.
  7. Lower with control without touching the floor.
  8. Continue for the working set.
