Description

The lying full leg raise is a full range straight leg raise performed lying on the back. The lifter lifts the straight legs from the floor all the way up to vertical, then lowers them back down. The full range loads the lower abs and hip flexors hard.

Lying Full Leg Raise Instructions

  1. Lie on your back on the floor.
  2. Place the hands at the sides for support.
  3. Set the legs straight on the floor.
  4. Brace your core hard.
  5. Lift both straight legs up off the floor.
  6. Continue lifting all the way up to vertical.
  7. Squeeze the lower abs at the top.
  8. Lower the legs back down with control to just above the floor.
