- Stand with the ball of one foot on a step or block.
- Allow the heel to hang off the edge.
- Lift the other foot off the floor by bending the knee.
- Hold a wall or rail for balance support.
- Brace the core and keep the working leg straight.
- Lower the heel down for a deep calf stretch.
- Press up onto the toes as high as possible.
- Lower with control and repeat for all reps then switch.
