  1. Stand with the feet hip width apart.
  2. Set the toes pointing straight ahead.
  3. Brace your core and keep the legs straight.
  4. Press up onto the balls of the feet.
  5. Hold near the top of the calf raise.
  6. Lower a few inches and press back up in small pulses.
  7. Keep the pulses short and controlled.
  8. Continue until the calves fatigue.
