Roll Tibialis Anterior
Description
The roll tibialis anterior is a self-myofascial release drill that targets the tibialis anterior on the front of the shin. The lifter rolls the front of the lower leg over a foam roller. The move releases shin tightness and is useful for runners.

Roll Tibialis Anterior Instructions
- Place a foam roller on the floor.
- Get into a quadruped position with one shin over the roller.
- Set the front of the lower leg on top of the roller.
- Support the upper body on the hands.
- Brace your core and keep the back flat.
- Roll the shin slowly over the roller from below the knee to the ankle.
- Stop on tight spots and hold for several seconds.
- Switch legs and repeat on the other shin.
