The roll ball calf is a self massage drill that uses a small ball to release the calf muscles. The mover sits on the floor and places one calf on the ball, rolling slowly across the muscle. It is useful for recovery and mobility.

Roll Ball Calf Instructions

  1. Sit on the floor with one calf placed on a massage ball.
  2. Place the other foot on the floor for support.
  3. Press the hands into the floor and lift the hips.
  4. Brace your core and keep the back straight.
  5. Roll the calf slowly forward and back over the ball.
  6. Pause on tight spots and breathe.
  7. Continue across the entire calf.
  8. Switch to the other side and repeat.
