Description
The roll ball tibialis anterior is a self myofascial release drill for the front of the shin. Pressing a ball into the tibialis anterior releases tightness that contributes to shin splints and ankle stiffness.

Roll Ball Tibialis Anterior Instructions
- Kneel on the floor with the tops of the feet down.
- Place a massage ball under the front of one shin.
- Brace the body on the hands.
- Sit back gently to load the ball.
- Roll the front of the shin slowly over the ball.
- Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
- Cover from below the knee to the ankle.
- Continue for the working time then switch sides.
