Description
The band lying straight leg raise adds resistance to the basic leg raise. The lifter lies on the back with a band looped around the feet and the other end anchored low. The lifter raises the straight legs against the band tension to load the hip flexors and abs.

Band Lying Straight Leg Raise Instructions
- Anchor a resistance band low to a sturdy point.
- Loop the other end around both feet together.
- Lie flat on the back with the legs extended and feet pointing toward the anchor.
- Place the hands at the sides for support.
- Brace your core hard.
- Raise both legs straight up to vertical against the band tension.
- Squeeze the abs hard at the top.
- Lower the legs back down with control to the start.
