Suspender Triceps Extension

Description

The suspender triceps extension uses a TRX or suspension trainer for an overhead-style triceps extension. With the body angled forward and the elbows held high, the triceps extend to push the body upright. It is a great bodyweight triceps builder that trains the long head through a stretched position.

Suspender Triceps Extension Instructions

  1. Set the suspension trainer with handles at about head height.
  2. Face away from the anchor and grab both handles.
  3. Walk your feet back so your body angles forward at the handles.
  4. Bring your hands behind your head with elbows bent and pointed forward.
  5. Brace your core and keep your body straight.
  6. Extend the elbows to push your body upright.
  7. Squeeze the triceps hard at full extension.
  8. Bend the elbows to lower with control.
