The kneeling half triceps extension is a partial range bodyweight tricep extension. The lifter kneels in front of a bench and lowers the body halfway in a tricep extension pattern. The half range is a useful starter for those who cannot complete a full bodyweight tricep extension.

Kneeling Half Triceps Extension Instructions
- Kneel on a pad in front of a sturdy bench.
- Place the hands on the edge of the bench at shoulder width.
- Walk the knees back so the body forms a slight diagonal.
- Set the upper arms at an angle.
- Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
- Lower the body partway by bending the elbows.
- Stop at the halfway point with the elbows at 90 degrees.
- Press back up to extension by extending the elbows.
