Description
The staggered leg side bridge is a side plank variation with the top foot placed in front of the bottom foot. The staggered stance widens the base and adds a different load to the obliques. It is a strong oblique builder.
Equipment Required
Staggered Leg Side Bridge Instructions
- Lie on the side with the bottom forearm on the floor.
- Stack the bottom leg straight under the body.
- Place the top foot in front of the bottom foot on the floor.
- Brace your core and keep the body straight.
- Lift the hips up off the floor into a side plank.
- Squeeze the obliques and glutes hard.
- Hold the position for the working set.
- Finish then switch sides.
