Description

The leg bench side bridge is a side plank variation with the top foot elevated on a bench. The elevated foot increases the load and adds difficulty to the move. It is a strong oblique builder.

Leg Bench Side Bridge Instructions

  1. Set up sideways to a flat bench.
  2. Lie on the side with the bottom forearm on the floor.
  3. Place the top foot up on the bench.
  4. Stack the bottom foot on the floor.
  5. Brace your core and keep the body straight.
  6. Lift the hips up off the floor.
  7. Squeeze the obliques and glutes hard at the top.
  8. Hold for the working set then switch sides.
