Description
The leg bench side bridge is a side plank variation with the top foot elevated on a bench. The elevated foot increases the load and adds difficulty to the move. It is a strong oblique builder.
Equipment Required
Leg Bench Side Bridge Instructions
- Set up sideways to a flat bench.
- Lie on the side with the bottom forearm on the floor.
- Place the top foot up on the bench.
- Stack the bottom foot on the floor.
- Brace your core and keep the body straight.
- Lift the hips up off the floor.
- Squeeze the obliques and glutes hard at the top.
- Hold for the working set then switch sides.
