Description
The assisted hanging knee raise uses an assistance machine to scale the bodyweight load of a hanging knee raise. The lifter places the knees on the assist pad of a pull up machine, then raises the knees toward the chest. It is a beginner friendly hanging abs move.

- Set up a pull up assist machine with a knee pad.
- Set the assistance weight to scale the load.
- Step onto the knee pad with both knees.
- Grip the upper handles with both hands.
- Hang from the bar with the knee pad supporting some bodyweight.
- Brace your core hard.
- Raise the knees up toward the chest by curling the pelvis.
- Lower back down with control.
