Description
The cable standing close press is performed standing facing away from a cable station with a close grip. Pressing the cables forward with a close hand position trains the triceps while the standing position adds core and leg engagement to stabilize the body.

- Set both cable pulleys to chest height with single handles.
- Stand facing away from the cable stack with one handle in each hand.
- Hold the handles close together at chest level with palms facing forward.
- Step forward to create cable tension.
- Brace your core and stand tall.
- Press both handles forward until your arms are fully extended.
- Bring the handles together at the front of the press.
- Squeeze the triceps, then lower the handles back to chest level with control.
