Smith Bent Over Narrow Pronated Grip Row Instructions

  1. Set the Smith machine bar at about knee height.
  2. Stand close to the bar with feet hip width apart.
  3. Grip the bar with a close overhand grip.
  4. Unrack the bar and step back slightly.
  5. Hinge at the hips with a flat back and the chest tall.
  6. Pull the bar up to your lower chest by driving the elbows back.
  7. Squeeze the upper back at the top of the row.
  8. Lower the bar slowly back to full arm extension and repeat.
