Description
The sled vertical leg press is performed lying on your back on a vertical leg press machine, pressing the platform straight up. The vertical angle allows for a deep range of motion and heavy loading of the legs. It is one of the best machine options for quad and glute hypertrophy.

Sled Vertical Leg Press Instructions
- Lie on your back on a vertical leg press machine.
- Place both feet on the platform overhead, shoulder-width apart.
- Release the safety stops.
- Brace your core and grip the handles for stability.
- Press the platform up by extending your legs.
- Stop just short of locking out the knees.
- Slowly lower the platform back down toward your chest.
- Allow your knees to come close to your chest at the bottom.
