Description

The roll biceps lying on floor is a self myofascial release drill for the front of the upper arm. Lying face down with a foam roller under the bicep and rolling slowly releases tightness from heavy curling and pulling work.

Equipment Required

Roll Biceps Lying on Floor Instructions

  1. Lie face down on the floor.
  2. Place a foam roller under the front of one upper arm.
  3. Extend the working arm out to the side at shoulder height.
  4. Brace the body on the other forearm.
  5. Keep the working arm relaxed over the roller.
  6. Roll the bicep slowly over the roller.
  7. Pause on tender spots for several breaths.
  8. Cover the full upper arm then switch sides.
