Decline Sit Up and Russian Twist Instructions

  1. Set up on a decline bench and hook the feet under the pads.
  2. Cross the arms over the chest or hold a light weight at the chest.
  3. Brace the core and lower the torso back to the bench.
  4. Curl up by flexing the abs and bringing the chest toward the knees.
  5. At the top of the sit up, rotate the torso to one side.
  6. Rotate to the other side.
  7. Return to center and lower back down with control.
  8. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
