Dumbbell Russian Twist with Legs Off Floor Instructions

  1. Sit on the floor with the knees bent and torso leaned back slightly.
  2. Hold a dumbbell with both hands at chest level.
  3. Brace the core and lift the feet off the floor to balance on the hips.
  4. Keep the body in a v shape position throughout.
  5. Twist the torso to one side and bring the dumbbell toward the floor.
  6. Squeeze the obliques on that side at the end of the twist.
  7. Twist back through center to the opposite side.
  8. Continue alternating side twists for all reps.
