  1. Lie on the back with the legs extended.
  2. Place the arms at the sides palms down.
  3. Brace the core and press the lower back into the floor.
  4. Lift the legs straight up to vertical.
  5. Continue lifting by curling the hips off the floor.
  6. Drive the toes toward the ceiling at the top.
  7. Squeeze the abs hard at the peak.
  8. Lower with control to the start.
