- Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat.
- Lean back slightly and lift your feet off the floor.
- Balance on your sit bones with shins parallel to the floor.
- Extend your arms forward at shoulder height.
- Brace your core hard to maintain balance.
- Pull your arms back as if rowing, drawing your elbows behind you.
- Reach your arms forward again to begin the next row.
- Continue the rowing motion while maintaining the boat pose throughout.
