Boat Yoga Pose Instructions

  1. Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Lean back slightly to balance on your sit bones.
  3. Lift your feet off the floor and bring your shins parallel to the floor.
  4. Extend your arms forward at shoulder height with palms facing each other.
  5. Brace your core hard to maintain balance.
  6. Form a V shape with your body, balancing on your sit bones.
  7. Hold the position with steady breathing.
  8. For an advanced version, fully extend your legs straight.
