The bodyweight standing military press wall supported uses a wall to balance during a handstand-style press. The lifter kicks up into a wall handstand and presses up and down. It is a strong bodyweight shoulder press.
Equipment Required
BW Wall Supported Military Press Instructions
- Place the hands on the floor near a wall.
- Kick up into a handstand with the heels touching the wall.
- Set the hands shoulder width apart.
- Brace your core and keep the body straight.
- Lower the body by bending the elbows.
- Stop just above the floor with the head near the hands.
- Press back up to lockout.
- Continue for the working set.
