  1. Set a sturdy bar or bench at chest height.
  2. Stand facing away from the bar.
  3. Reach overhead behind the head and grip the bar.
  4. Step the feet forward so the body leans back at an angle.
  5. Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
  6. Lower the body by bending the elbows behind the head.
  7. Stop when the elbows are fully bent.
  8. Press back up to extension by extending the elbows.
