Barbell Lying Close Grip Triceps Extension Instructions

  1. Lie on a flat bench with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Hold a barbell with a close grip about hand-width apart.
  3. Position the bar over your forehead with arms extended.
  4. Brace your core and keep your back flat against the bench.
  5. Bend at the elbows to lower the bar toward your forehead.
  6. Keep your upper arms vertical and only the elbows moving.
  7. Stop just before the bar touches your forehead.
  8. Extend the elbows to return to the start position.
