Description

The suspender triceps extension push up uses a suspension trainer with the body angled forward and the elbows pinned overhead. The lifter lowers the body into a triceps extension position then presses up to lock out. The strap tension builds triceps strength while the chest assists.

Suspender Triceps Extension Push Up Instructions

  1. Set the suspension straps at chest height with handles together.
  2. Face away from the anchor and grip the handles overhead.
  3. Lean your body forward into a slight angle with arms straight.
  4. Brace your core and keep your body in a straight line.
  5. Bend the elbows to lower your forehead toward your hands.
  6. Keep the upper arms still and only the elbows move.
  7. Stop when you feel a deep stretch in the triceps.
  8. Press through the palms to extend the elbows back to the start.
