Description
The suspender triceps extension push up uses a suspension trainer with the body angled forward and the elbows pinned overhead. The lifter lowers the body into a triceps extension position then presses up to lock out. The strap tension builds triceps strength while the chest assists.
Equipment Required
Suspender Triceps Extension Push Up Instructions
- Set the suspension straps at chest height with handles together.
- Face away from the anchor and grip the handles overhead.
- Lean your body forward into a slight angle with arms straight.
- Brace your core and keep your body in a straight line.
- Bend the elbows to lower your forehead toward your hands.
- Keep the upper arms still and only the elbows move.
- Stop when you feel a deep stretch in the triceps.
- Press through the palms to extend the elbows back to the start.
