Description
The barbell front step-up holds a barbell in the front rack position while stepping onto a box or bench. The front-loaded position forces an upright torso, shifting emphasis to the quadriceps and demanding core stability during the single-leg step.

Barbell Front Step Up Instructions
- Clean or unrack a barbell to the front rack. Stand in front of a box or bench.
- Place your right foot on the box. Brace your core.
- Drive through your right foot to step up onto the box.
- Stand fully on the box. Squeeze your right glute.
- Step back down with your left foot leading.
- Complete reps on one side, then switch.
- Keep your torso upright throughout.
- Use moderate weight. Box height should allow a 90-degree knee bend.
