Barbell Front Step Up Instructions

  1. Clean or unrack a barbell to the front rack. Stand in front of a box or bench.
  2. Place your right foot on the box. Brace your core.
  3. Drive through your right foot to step up onto the box.
  4. Stand fully on the box. Squeeze your right glute.
  5. Step back down with your left foot leading.
  6. Complete reps on one side, then switch.
  7. Keep your torso upright throughout.
  8. Use moderate weight. Box height should allow a 90-degree knee bend.
