Kettlebell Step Up
Description
The kettlebell step up is performed stepping onto a box, bench, or platform while holding a kettlebell in each hand. The kettlebells add load to the standard step up and the step pattern builds single-leg strength through the working leg from the bottom of the step to lockout.

Kettlebell Step Up Instructions
- Position a sturdy box or bench in front of you at knee height or higher.
- Hold a kettlebell in each hand at your sides.
- Stand facing the box with feet hip-width apart.
- Step your right foot up onto the box and plant it firmly.
- Drive through your right heel to stand up onto the box.
- Bring your left foot up to meet the right at the top.
- Step back down with your left foot, then your right.
- Repeat on the other leg, alternating sides.
