Description
The kettlebell single leg step up is a step up performed with a single kettlebell held on one side of the body. The asymmetrical load forces the core to resist side flexion while the working leg builds strength. It is a strong unilateral leg builder.

Kettlebell Single Leg Step Up Instructions
- Stand in front of a sturdy box or step holding a kettlebell in one hand.
- Hold the kettlebell at the side with arm long.
- Brace your core and resist any side lean.
- Place one foot flat on the box.
- Drive through the heel to step up onto the box.
- Bring the trailing leg up to standing on top of the box.
- Step the same trailing leg back down with control.
- Complete reps on one leg before switching sides.
