Description

The suspension trainer mountain climber is a TRX cardio core drill. The lifter places the feet in foot cradles and from a plank rapidly drives the knees toward the chest in alternating mountain climbers. The suspended feet add instability and a brutal core challenge.

Suspension Trainer Mountain Climber Instructions

  1. Set the suspension trainer foot cradles low.
  2. Place the feet in the foot cradles facing down.
  3. Set the hands on the floor under the shoulders in a plank.
  4. Brace your core hard and keep the body in a straight line.
  5. Drive one knee toward the chest.
  6. Extend that leg back and drive the other knee toward the chest.
  7. Continue the alternating climber pattern at speed.
  8. Keep the hips low and the core braced.
