Description

The decline push up against wall is a steep decline push up using a wall for the foot support. The lifter walks the hands forward and runs the feet up the wall to a steep angle. The steep decline biases the upper chest and shoulders hard.

Decline Push Up Against Wall Instructions

  1. Set up in a high plank position near a wall.
  2. Walk the hands forward and place the feet against the wall.
  3. Walk the feet up the wall to a steep decline angle.
  4. Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
  5. Lower the chest toward the floor by bending the elbows.
  6. Stop with the chest just above the floor.
  7. Press back up to lockout.
  8. Lock out at the top before the next rep.
