Description
The decline push up against wall is a steep decline push up using a wall for the foot support. The lifter walks the hands forward and runs the feet up the wall to a steep angle. The steep decline biases the upper chest and shoulders hard.
Equipment Required
Decline Push Up Against Wall Instructions
- Set up in a high plank position near a wall.
- Walk the hands forward and place the feet against the wall.
- Walk the feet up the wall to a steep decline angle.
- Brace your core and keep the body in a straight line.
- Lower the chest toward the floor by bending the elbows.
- Stop with the chest just above the floor.
- Press back up to lockout.
- Lock out at the top before the next rep.
