Standing Single Leg Calf Raise with Support Instructions

  1. Stand on one foot near a wall or rail.
  2. Hold the wall or rail for balance support.
  3. Lift the other foot off the floor by bending the knee.
  4. Brace the core and keep the chest up.
  5. Allow the heel to drop slightly toward the floor.
  6. Press up onto the toes by raising the heel.
  7. Squeeze the calf hard at the top.
  8. Lower with control and continue for all reps then switch.
