Description
The standing one arm chest stretch uses a wall or sturdy post. With one arm placed against the wall and the body turning away, the chest and front shoulder open up on that side.
Equipment Required
Standing One Arm Chest Stretch Instructions
- Stand next to a wall or sturdy post.
- Place one hand on the wall behind you at shoulder height.
- Keep the arm straight and the palm pressing the wall.
- Plant the same side foot.
- Brace the core and keep the chest tall.
- Slowly turn the body away from the wall.
- Feel the stretch across the front of the chest and shoulder.
- Hold the stretch for the desired duration then switch sides.
