Barbell Decline Wide Grip Press Instructions

  1. Set up a decline bench with feet secured on the foot pads.
  2. Lie back with eyes under the bar.
  3. Grip the bar wider than shoulder-width.
  4. Pull your shoulder blades back into the bench.
  5. Unrack the bar and hold it over your lower chest with arms extended.
  6. Lower the bar with control to your lower chest.
  7. Allow your elbows to flare more than a standard press.
  8. Press the bar back up by squeezing the chest.
