Description
The resistance band standing external rotation is a rotator cuff drill done standing with a band anchored at elbow height. The lifter pins the elbow to the side and rotates the forearm outward. It is a useful shoulder health move.

Band Standing External Rotation Instructions
- Anchor a resistance band at elbow height.
- Stand sideways to the anchor.
- Grip the band handle with the working arm.
- Pin the elbow to the side at ninety degrees.
- Bring the forearm across the body to the start.
- Brace your core and keep the elbow tucked.
- Rotate the forearm outward away from the body.
- Return with control. Finish all reps then switch sides.
