Description

The push through reach is a quadruped mobility and core drill performed on the hands and knees. The lifter reaches one arm forward and threads it under the body in a smooth motion. The reach mobilizes the shoulders and trains the core to resist rotation.

Push Through Reach Instructions

  1. Get on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.
  2. Set the hands under the shoulders and knees under the hips.
  3. Brace your core and keep the back flat.
  4. Lift one hand off the floor.
  5. Reach the arm forward and through the gap under the body.
  6. Continue the reach to the opposite side.
  7. Pull the arm back through to the start.
  8. Repeat reaches alternating arms.
