Push Through Reach
Description
The push through reach is a quadruped mobility and core drill performed on the hands and knees. The lifter reaches one arm forward and threads it under the body in a smooth motion. The reach mobilizes the shoulders and trains the core to resist rotation.
Equipment Required
Push Through Reach Instructions
- Get on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.
- Set the hands under the shoulders and knees under the hips.
- Brace your core and keep the back flat.
- Lift one hand off the floor.
- Reach the arm forward and through the gap under the body.
- Continue the reach to the opposite side.
- Pull the arm back through to the start.
- Repeat reaches alternating arms.
