Description

The oblique V up on the floor is a side lying ab exercise. From the side, you lift the torso and legs together to form a V shape that hammers the obliques.

Oblique V Up on Floor Instructions

  1. Lie on your side with the legs extended and stacked.
  2. Place the bottom arm on the floor for support.
  3. Place the top hand behind the head.
  4. Brace the core and squeeze the obliques.
  5. Lift the torso and legs at the same time toward each other.
  6. Form a V shape with the body at the top.
  7. Squeeze the obliques hard at the top.
  8. Lower back down with control and repeat for all reps then switch sides.
