Description

The lying leg raise to side combines a leg raise with a lateral angle. By dropping the legs to one side at the top of each rep, you fire the obliques along with the lower abs.

Lying Leg Raise to Side Instructions

  1. Lie flat on your back with the legs extended.
  2. Place the hands at your sides for support.
  3. Brace the core and press the lower back to the floor.
  4. Lift the legs up toward the ceiling keeping them straight.
  5. At the top, lower the legs to one side with control.
  6. Stop just above the floor on the side.
  7. Bring the legs back to center and lower them to the start.
  8. Alternate sides for the desired number of repetitions.
