Assisted Lying Leg Raise with Lateral Throw Down Instructions

  1. Lie flat on your back with the partner standing at your head.
  2. Reach up and grasp the partner ankles for stability.
  3. Brace the core and lift both legs straight up to vertical.
  4. When the legs reach the top the partner pushes them to one side.
  5. Resist the push and lower the legs slowly with control.
  6. Stop just before the heels touch the floor on the side.
  7. Lift the legs back up to the top with control.
  8. Continue the leg raise and alternating side throws for all reps.
