- Sit on the leg press machine with the platform at full extension.
- Place the balls of your feet near the bottom edge of the platform.
- Allow your heels to hang off the edge.
- Release the safety stops.
- Brace your core and keep your knees slightly bent.
- Press up onto your toes by pushing through the balls of your feet.
- Squeeze the calves hard at full extension.
- Lower slowly to a deep stretch at the bottom.
