- Stand tall with a dumbbell in one hand at the side.
- Grip the dumbbell with a neutral palm facing the body.
- Brace your core and set the chest tall.
- Keep the arm slightly bent throughout.
- Raise the dumbbell straight up in front.
- Stop when the dumbbell reaches shoulder height.
- Pause briefly at the top.
- Lower the dumbbell back to the side with control. Complete reps and switch sides.
