Description

The bottle weighted halo is a halo style shoulder mobility move performed with a weighted bottle or jug instead of a kettlebell. The bottle circles around the head to mobilize the shoulders and warm up the upper body for training.

Bottle Weighted Halo Instructions

  1. Stand tall holding a weighted bottle in both hands at chest level.
  2. Set your feet at hip-width and brace your core.
  3. Grip the bottle by the handle and the bottom.
  4. Begin circling the bottle around your head in a halo motion.
  5. Keep the bottle close to your head as it travels around.
  6. Move slowly and control the bottle through the full path.
  7. Complete several halos in one direction.
  8. Reverse the direction and circle the other way.
