Description
The basic toe touch is the most fundamental hamstring stretch. The lifter stands tall and folds forward at the hips reaching the hands down toward the toes. It stretches the hamstrings, calves, and lower back in one simple move.

Basic Toe Touch Instructions
- Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
- Brace your core lightly.
- Keep a slight bend in the knees if needed.
- Hinge at the hips to fold the torso forward over the legs.
- Reach your hands down toward your toes.
- Allow the head to hang relaxed.
- Feel the stretch through the hamstrings and back.
- Hold for several breaths then come back up slowly.
