Description

The bar band bent over row combines a barbell with resistance bands to create accommodating resistance. The bands grow heavier as the bar rises, hammering the back at lockout where bar weight alone is easiest.

Bar Band Bent Over Row Instructions

  1. Loop a resistance band around the center of a barbell.
  2. Anchor both ends of the band under your feet.
  3. Stand with feet shoulder width apart over the bar.
  4. Hinge at the hips with a flat back and grip the bar overhand.
  5. Brace the core and unrack the bar slightly.
  6. Pull the bar up toward your lower abdomen by driving the elbows back.
  7. Squeeze the back hard at the top of the row.
  8. Lower the bar slowly back to full arm extension and repeat.
