Description
The band standing twisting crunch is a standing crunch with rotation using a resistance band anchored at chest height. As you crunch your torso forward, you twist toward one side, loading the obliques against the band tension. It is a strong choice for standing oblique training.
Equipment Required
Band Standing Twisting Crunch Instructions
- Anchor a resistance band at chest height.
- Stand sideways to the anchor, gripping the band ends with both hands at your chest.
- Step away to create tension.
- Brace your abs and stand tall.
- Crunch your torso forward and twist away from the anchor.
- Bring the band ends across your body toward the far hip.
- Squeeze the obliques hard at the bottom of the twist.
- Return to the starting position. Complete reps then switch sides.
